Lunar Eclipse Viewed from Chicopee MA
Two momentous events marked the evening of October 27th, 2004. In the celestial world alunar eclipse was visible from a large part of the northern hemisphere and the Boston Red Sox would win the world series for the first time since 1918!

The following images show the progress of the eclipse as viewed from Chicopee in Western Massachusetts. Inreasing cloud cover hampered sharp image capturing.

For the curious the images were taken with a Nikon D70 plus AF-S Nikor 24-120 Vibration Reduction lens at full zoom.

The images have also been enlarged to 200%.
