Saratoga Springs Races
It's racing season at Saratoga Springs, time for a flutter!

A gorgeous day, temps in the 80's but with a nice breeze and low(ish) humidity. Sitting under the sunshade in the picnic end of the public area is a great place to be. May not be on the finishing line, but it is not over crowded and there is shade to be had.

My racing day started out good by picking up a lost $10 bill in the parking lot. Nobody to be seen so 'finders keepers'. The last two years I have always bet on my picks to win, despite picking them by the scientific means of liking the names. This year I decide to go with a show which means I'd get something back for first, second or third. Of course two of my picks win and a couple more place. $2 bets will never get you rich, but it is fun. Had I bet to win I would have made around $30 on the two wins. As it was I ended the day $1.30 up, plus the $10 find, so all in all a good day at the races.
