13 - Snowdon - Miner's Track


Snowdon is the highest peak in England and Wales at 3,560ft. Despite not measuring up to 4,000 footer standards the topography offers some challenging hiking and stunning views.
I didn't take many pictures back then. Just a few during the ascent and a bunch from the summit.
The Miner's Track starts in Pen y Pass and the first part of the ascent is pretty easy going. This picture looks back at Llyn (Welsh for lake) Llydaw past some old mine ruins.
