Purgatory Chasm - Sutton MA
Well it's been a few weeks now since Karen had a 3lb ovarian cyst removed (benign) and I thought it about time she got back to the outdoors. Something easy to start with so off we went to check out Purgatory Chasm near Sutton, Massachusetts.

I'd read about this place in a guide book and checked it out on the web. Interesting geology, still not sure if I know how it was formed. Anyway, Purgatory Chasm is quarter of a mile long with cliffs up to seventy feet high and a lot of huge boulders piled up inside. There are also huge trees growing on the sides and base of the chasm, very interesting.

So, enough babble from me. Check out the pictures then go see it for yourself. Much better in real life.
