1 - Getting ready
Three-quarters of todays hiking crew. I'm behind the camera and intend to stay there as much as possible!
The parking lot for the trail head is easy to find on Rte 7 south of Stockbridge (a fine place to visit) but get there early. When we arrived at 9am we were one of maybe three vehicles. By 12:30 when we returned there parking room was scarce. The trails are reasonably easy and attract a lot of casual hikers.
