The ascent is fairly steep with some earth and roots plus some loose rocky scrambles but it doesn't take long to reach the summit.

It's a grey day and the going is a little damp. The ascent was quick so we decide to push on along the trail a little. Full of confidence in her new boots Karen takes a slide and a tumble on some slick rock OW! Nothing broken thankfully but a badly sprained wrist all the same. We turn around and head back.
